Rain rhythmically hitting the windows. Thunder rolled in the distance. And the sky was dark and overcast. But, joy filled the air. Laughter abounded. And smiles were given freely. Jenna and Robbie must have received the most luck ever for the amount rain that fell during their winter wedding at the Purgatory Golf Club. And the beautiful part? You never could have guessed that a single drop fell that day.
On their wedding day, Jenna and Robbie reminded everyone what one of the most important parts of marriage. Being best friends. Their complete and unwavering adoration for each other proved their love. But there was something deeper; there was something more. From their personalized and extremely touching gifts {that had the bridal party & photographers swooning in chorus} to their heart-felt and tear-filled vows, Jenna and Robbie showcased their friendship. That they, as husband and wife, were bringing more than just attraction into their marriage. That they were building the rest of their lives on commitment, compassion, joy, and laughter.

I was fortunate to first pick up on these traits during Jenna and Robbie’s initial consultations and engagement session. Seeing how firm a foundation they had built for their marriage made me so excited to be apart of their winter wedding at the Purgatory Golf Club!
Jenna and Robbie,
your hearts are so beautiful. The special moments that I was able to witness with you and your daughter assure me of your commitment and love. I am so happy for the two of you, and I am so thankful you found each other!!! I pray blessings on your marriage and your family as you start this new journey!
P.S. I am so glad it stopped raining for those 10 minutes during portraits!
