The clouds darkened as the rain began. The chilled wind swirled through the alcoves of the property. The sound of water droplets echoed on the pavement. But, Lucia and Brent’s smiles never wavered. Even though their white and navy wedding was unexpectedly cold and rainy.
Because it was their wedding day. No matter the weather.
They loved spending time with friends and family. No matter the weather.
And, they vowed to be husband and wife. No matter the weather.
And on that rainy day, Lucia and Brent showed everyone what it meant to love your best friend. Because though their plans had to be changed and their day was dark and gloomy, they never stopped glowing. They never stopped encouraging. And, they never stopped smiling.
“And, they vowed to be husband and wife. No matter the weather.”
And thanks be to God, that on that cold and wet day, there was a break in the clouds. The rain stopped for just a little while. And, we were able to sneak out (with coats in hand) and take the gorgeous portraits that Lucia had been dreaming of!
Lucia and Brent,
Thank you for always loving and serving others, even on your wedding day. You two are so incredibly kind, and it’s no wonder you found each other. I can’t wait to see how you two serve your community as husband and wife and through your work in the healthcare industry. I am blessed to have met you two, and I’m praying for your marriage!
