Rain fell from the sky. Deep puddles formed in the courtyard. The palm fronds blew in the heavy wind. It had been three months since the last rain. And, tears fell from Amara’s eyes at their Powel Crosley Estate Wedding.
But, they weren’t tears of sadness. Rather, they were tears of joy as she looked at Will. The love of her life for the past 12 years. The one she had waited over 2 years to marry. The one who had endured with her through time and a pandemic postponement.
Her heaven-sent best friend. Her lifeline. Her husband.
And though rain was falling and their wedding plans were drastically changed, she still looked at him with the same adoring eyes. She still couldn’t wait to marry the Mr. to her Mrs. and spend the rest of their lives together.

You two are such a blessing to me and everyone you know. You two love with such passion, hold closely to your friends, and spend your days in laughter. I am so thankful that I was able to celebrate with you on your wedding day. To shed so many tears with you as you became husband and wife (something you have been waiting over a DECADE for!). It was truly and honor. And I am so, so thankful.
So here’s to your marriage! I know it will withstand the tests of time the way your wedding withstood the rain of the day. And through it all, I know you will still be holding to each other with so much love in your eyes! Congratulations you two! I love y’all!
P.S. I’m beyond thankful it stopped raining for 20 whole minutes for us to sneak outside!
