She held her father’s arm tightly. She looked up at him. He smiled gently back at her. “This is real life,” she said. They started walking towards her beautiful Community Life Center Wedding.
Now, she could see the doors leading to the ceremony. She was about to get married to her fiance, her best friend. She clung even tighter to her father’s arm as excitement rushed over her. They had waited for this moment for so long. And, now, everyone was waiting for her. She could see their happy smiles as she walked towards the door. But, all she could look at was Austin, her groom. “This is real life,” she said.
By far, the best thing about Jena and Austin’s wedding day was them! Friends, these two have such a joy and excitement about them. It was evident from the first time I met them. By the end of our first meeting, I felt as if they were old friends. We talked and laughed for 2 hours, and the smiles never left their faces.
And, their wedding day was no exception. All day, Jena’s laugh lit up the whole room. And, Austin’s sweet glances made everyone melt. The windy weather never phased them, the change of ceremony space didn’t dampen their spirits. They were only interested in spending time with their sweet families and vowing to be best friends forever. And on all accounts, they did just that! <3

CONGRATULATIONS! I am over the moon for the two of you! Your kindness and joy was so evident your entire wedding day! I had so much fun capturing every single second! (And I especially enjoyed all of our interpretive dancing! 😉 ) You two light up every room that you walk into, and I pray that you shine that light everywhere you go! I can already imagine the two of you sitting in rocking chairs and laughing together after 50 years of marriage! And, I cannot even describe how excited that make me! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your big day! It meant the world to me! Here’s to the next 50 years! I love you two!
