Trees around the church had started to show hints of their gorgeous fall color. Soft sunlight fell through the windows of the Holy Rosary Church. And, the sound of music drifted through the hall. Krystyna took a deep breath. She and her father stood together. And in just a moment, he would lead her to the ceremony of her autumn downtown wedding. She clutched her father’s arm tighter and smiled up at him. The smile radiating from his eyes calmed her. They stepped forward. Krystyna had longed for this moment. The moment she got to see John standing at the end of the aisle. Waiting for her, his fiance, his soon-to-be wife. She was getting married.

You two thanked me so much on the day of your wedding. But, now it’s my chance to thank you. Thank you for trusting your day to me. Thank you for always being joyful and sweet. And thank you for believing in the sanctity of marriage and honoring it as a gift from God. I couldn’t be happier that you have found one another. And, I’m so thankful the Lord allowed our paths to cross. Your wedding was beautiful, but the two of you made it joyful and unforgettable.
