The sun peaked from behind the clouds. It cast warm light on the back of the trees. And, warmed the air as the wind blew gently. Abby and Landon stood at the altar of their Park Crest Event Facility Wedding.
They watched as their friends and family received unleavened bread and juice. Abby smiled at Landon. Not only was she getting to marry the love of her life, but she was able to remember the Lord with all of their closest family and friends.
What a blessing.
They turned towards the minister after everyone had received the emblems. They prayed. Petitioning God to bless the bread as they remembered Christ’s sacrifice. A sacrifice that would guide their marriage for the rest of their lives. They ate the bread. And again, they prayed before drinking the juice.
Abby and Landon held hands. This was the foundation on which they wished to build their marriage. Christ’s love and sacrifice. Learning by example to love and serve others individually and together as husband and wife.
Landon smiled at Abby. This was their beginning as Mr. & Mrs. And they couldn’t wait to see how the Lord used them as one.
Abby and Landon,
You are finally Mr. & Mrs. Sagle!!! Your wedding day was absolutely breathtaking! But, your hearts are what really shone through on that day. Your heart for each other, for your family and friends, and for the Lord.
I pray that you always remember the foundation you laid on your wedding day. And that God blesses you are you grow closer together and closer to Him! Congratulations you two! Here’s to the next 60 years!
