Hey hey! Are dreaming of a gorgeous white wedding? Well, I have the venue for you! Recently I was able to go hang out with the fabulous ladies at Oak Meadow Event Center, and they showed me all around! So, I thought I would share all the pictures in one blog post, so you can join me in the walkthrough!
The Indoor Space
So, this is were I start swooning. When you walk into their indoor ceremony/reception space, it literally takes your breath away. The vaulted ceilings, the greenery accents, the gorgeous white paneling…. it truly is what wedding dreams are made of!
Beside the gorgeous natural light that is pouring in the windows, one of the biggest draws to this space is that it is a blank canvas! You can keep it classy and simple with minimal decor, or your can transform it into a lush, romantic space with floral arrangements, candles, etc.
It is really is only limited by what you can dream up!
The Bridal Suite
Alright, let’s talk about this bridal suite! If I’m honest, most bridal suites have some serious problems. They are usually dark, small, and not aesthetically pleasing for getting ready portraits. But, this bridal suite is so far from any of those things!
It is bright, spacious, and perfect for everything you’ll need the morning of your wedding! The seating area has so many options and would be perfect for some fun pictures of your bridal party in their custom robes or monogramed shirts!
And don’t get me started on the hair/makeup station!
Groom’s Suite
The groom’s suite is stocked with the 2 things that the groom and groomsmen will need before the wedding. Comfy couches and a TV! Haha. But, for real, it has everything that the guys will need to hang out all morning before taking 2.5 seconds to get ready. What more could they want?
The Outdoor Space
This versatile space is everything you need for a gorgeous ceremony or reception. The awning (and the fans!) provides perfect cover from the Alabama elements, there is plenty of space for dinner and dancing, and the stone patio is the perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony!
The Grounds
We’re finally to the front doors of the beautiful Oak Meadow Event Center! The pristine white paneling flows seamlessly into the gorgeous interior! The perfect backdrop for some gorgeous portraits on your wedding day! And, with plenty of parking on property, you might as well invite all your friends and have a party! 😉
Joy and Katie
Okay, friend. I can’t go before introducing you to these sweet ladies! Joy and Katie are the fabulous mother/daughter team behind Oak Meadow Event Center. Not only are they amazing business women, but their hearts are so, so kind.
The whole time I was at Oak Meadow we chatted and laughed like we were old friends. But, not only that, they were so full of fun and encouragement!
If I learned anything about Oak Meadow while visiting, it was these two things: 1. Their venue is gorgeous. 2. The hearts behind it are even more beautiful.
Hopefully, next time I’ll get to meet Joy’s husband, the dreamer/designer behind the whole venue, Mark!
