Hannah had a plan. She knew exactly where she wanted to take her engagement pictures. She knew the exact style and the look that she was going for. So, when she told me her dream of a Vinoy and North Straub Park Engagement Session, I was oh so excited! I love going to the St. Petersburg area because of the gorgeous architecture and cute shops. But, after shooting this session, it has become one of my new favorite places! The light and the atmosphere is perfect, and Hannah definitely picked the cutest outfits to accompany this spot!
We started the session by walking around North Straub Park and The Vinoy Renaissance property. The greens, pinks, and ocean blues that surrounded us were breathtaking. However, Hannah’s smile stole the show! I quickly realized that her radiant smile had to be one of the things that Bob loved about her! Her smile could light up any room. And it made Bob light up too. So, between the amazing atmosphere and her lovely smile, I knew that some of my favorite images would be those that we took in front of The Vinoy Hotel’s brilliant, pink walls. But, as the session kept going, I kept having to readjust what my favorite images were! They are all so pretty!
Finally, right before sunset, we took a short walk down to Vinoy Park. We were hoping to get some gorgeous shots with the sunset and the harbor behind us. And we weren’t disappointed! The light was amazing, and the images are so romantic. I love the glow that encompassed them, and how the sun beautifully lit up Hannah’s gorgeous red hair! It was dreamy to say the least!
